Why should I get a FIT-certificate?

Focus on Information Technology (FIT) certificates, and other designations, showcase your strong work ethic, highlight your skills, and indicate to others that you are a career oriented individual.

Students are required to take:
Graduates of the FIT program will have the benefit of a certificate to help distinguish themselves to employers and academic institutions. The FIT certificate will be awarded with five different levels of certification.
- Information Technology 120,
- Business Organization and Management 120,
- Entrepreneurship 110
- Technology Support 110
- Computer Science 110
- Digital Production 120.
Graduates of the FIT program will have the benefit of a certificate to help distinguish themselves to employers and academic institutions. The FIT certificate will be awarded with five different levels of certification.
- FIT Basic (courses only),
- FIT with experience (Co-op education, paid work, or volunteer experience of at least 200 hours),
- FIT with certification (IT Essentials, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Office Specialist),
- FIT with experience and certification,
- FIT Plus (All requirements for FIT plus an additional industry standard including Cisco CCENT, Java, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Office Specialist).
