Open to students in grade 11 and 12.
This course exposes students to the skills and information necessary to make informed decisions about personal development, lifestyle choices, and healthy relationships. This course focuses on pragmatic real life learning experiences and is largely project based in assessment. This course is based in the social sciences and uses discussion, self reflection, role play and scenario simulations to create tangible and easily relate-able every day scenarios. It aims at given students a more well rounded perspective of themselves and their families. Units of study: Families in a Changing World, Personal Growth & Development, Interpersonal Relationships, Individual & Family Wellness.
